Error during installation

I\'m getting the following error when i try to install the component on a new site running joomla 1.5.23

JInstaller::install: SQL Error. DB function failed with error number 1060
Duplicate column name \'enabled\' SQL=ALTER TABLE `jos_art_tl_category` ADD COLUMN `enabled` tinyint(1) DEFAULT 1;

Component Install: SQL error or missing or unreadable SQL file. DB function failed with error number 1060
