Event text appears in wrong place - sometimes

I noticed this was addressed in Forum posting #13854, but the answer was not posted publicly.

Some of my Events on the Timeline appear with their Title text appearing AFTER the color band of the event, instead of inside of the band where they should appear.

What is the fix? No live URL at this time, unfortunately. Screenshot attached. Exact problem as in post #13854.
