Hi,

I bought Art Table for Joomla 3.x a few days ago to provide 'special' users access to various categories of information. Having got the hang of the basics (I think), I've got some questions.

1. Export to Excel

I was expecting something like a button or icon on the front end to export the source data to Excel via a file picker dialogue to save the data on my computer - a critical requirement for me - but there's none to be seen. I've tried putting a file name (e.g. file_name.xlsx) in the 'Excel File Name' field of the module settings. The only effect this has is, when I navigate to the page, to show a white page empty except for the title of the module in the top left hand corner. Could you tell me how to do this please?

2. HTML Table source data

Most of my queries relate to database data, so the SQL option works fine. However I have a requirement to display the count of the number of physical files in certain directories on the server. I'm intending to use PHP to create the raw data. I assume that I then need to use the HTML Table query source but have no idea how to even start going about it and what to put in the large 'HTML Table' text box. Could you advise please?

3. Filter displayed records

Searching through the ART Table forum hints that there is functionality available on request to be able to filter the displayed data on one or more of the fields of source data. Could I have access to it please?

4. Jumbled navigation toolbar layout

With the Table Type set to 'Table Sorter' the navigation fields at the top of the table are very poorly aligned and laid out, looking like the attached file. How can I tidy them up?

Many thanks,

The Boojum
