Upcoming Joomla Events March/April 2015

There are several Joomla Events throughout the next few months. Hopefully there’s an event near you to help you connect and do more with Joomla. Joomla! User Group (JUG) meetings and JoomlaDays are intended for everyone from casual users to core developers. Visit the Joomla! JoomlaDay South Africa is scheduled for March 6th and 7th at The Kelway Hotel. Rates are fair and organizers suggest registering early to avoid missing out. There are only a few days remaining to register for JoomlaDay Port Elizabeth. Learn more.

We will be gathering once again at the Microsoft NERD Center in Cambridge on Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15, 2015. Saturday will be regular sessions from 9am-5pm, and Sunday will be extended workshops from 10am-4pm. We'll be running a two-day beginners track called "Joomla for Beginners”. Bring a wifi-ready laptop and your enthusiasm, and get ready to learn Joomla from install to launch! AND, we’ll be holding a Pizza, Bugs and Fun session with Roland Dalmulder. Many Joomla developers find it difficult to secure their Joomla website and spend a lot of time researching solutions. The focus of this event is to demonstrate ways to produce a fantastic Joomla website and how to secure the site with the help of Joomla security plugins. Learn more. 

The Joomla! User Group Vienna (JUG) was established in November 2014 and the group held their first successful meeting earlier this year. This event will explore a variety of Joomla-related topics. Learn more.

The first annual JoomlaDay Morocco 2015 seeks to promote Joomla to the Moroccan public. Practical workshops are scheduled to help new users learn more and several sessions are available for more experienced users to exchange ideas about best practices using Joomla. Learn more. 

The fourth annual JoomlaDay Gabon will be held in April offering a variety of information for all different levels of Joomla users. The event will be held in Gabon Ogooué Labs, the first coworking space located in Libreville old Sobraga. Learn more.

After a successful event in Kigali last year, the second annual JoomlaDay™ Rwanda 2015 is an event promoting the use Joomla with all users of all levels. If you’re interested in learning more about Joomla and meeting many key community members, this event is a good investment. Learn more.
