hello there,

i just bought the extension from you and i´m pretty pleased with it´s functionality and look. i intend to use the extension for my personal portfolio. i´m a media designer and doing print, web and video stuff alike. therefor i really appreciate, that your extension is able to display these different input types and especially display whole folders of files and corresponding thumbnail folders. also i really dig the possibility of getting the titles from a separate file, which makes things pretty easy to handle, while being able to display all media in a good looking, uniform lightbox style. good job. however, i´ve got some minor problems and hope, you can help me to solve them.

1.
while trying to display my .flv folder, i couldn´t get the corresponding thumbnails from the thumbs directory, for the filename was different, or actually it seems to be the file extension, which is causing the trouble... it would have definitly made sense, to program the extension in the way, that filenames are fetched without the extension, for otherwise that great feature of displaying a whole folder without much hassle is simply not usable... can you help me with that?

2.
when displaying my print, respectivly .jpg folder, the thumbnails are displayed in 3 rows, instead of 4, although it´s more than enough space left to display one more row. a change of the padding value does not seem to have any effect on that behaviour. at the moment i´m still hosting the site on my local xampp server, so i can´t provide you with a lasting address. however the following link leads to a domain, which is actually my home pc here, presenting the site via a free dns service. i´m not online all the time, so don´t wonder, in case, you´d get a 404.

3.
when i took a look at the demo site of the extension i noticed, that all thumbnails had rounded edges. i was expecting this kind of functionality in the extension, but it ain´t there. why´s that and could i get that some way?

4.
i also took a look at the artsexylightbox extension, but decided for prettyphoto, because of the wider input range. comparing the 2, i gotta admit, that i do like the sexylightbox style a whole lot better, than the prettyphoto style... i noticed, that you´re using the same rounded edges from the prettyphoto demo for sexylightbox as well. therefor i was wondering, if it would be possible to combine these 2 extensions. - get the sexylightbox, but maintain the input variety of prettyphoto. - i´d pay some additional bucks for it, if nessecary...

Our answers below:

1. The extension is designed to show images, however we can adjust it for include .flv in the list of extensions to show as well.

2. It would be easier to advise if we can have a look. You can wrap the plugin code in the following way:

<div style="width:500px">{artprettyphoto .../}</div>

and replace 500px with width to fit appropriate number of images.

3. This is the question of CSS styling - you can add the following CSS rule for rounded corners:

.artprettyphoto {
-moz-border-radius-bottomleft:5px;
-moz-border-radius-bottomright:5px;
-moz-border-radius-topleft:5px;
-moz-border-radius-topright:5px;
border:2px solid #9DB2B9;
padding:2px;
}

4. What do you mean by input variety? Plugin should work in the similar ways so they both have similar functionality but different looks.

thanks for the fast reply. in this case ir seems, that i bought the wrong extension. when i looked at the demo site of prettyphoto and read .swf displaying i automatically concluded, it could do .flv as well. now, when thinking about it, i realize, that this was actually kind of ehm not so smart. i liked the sexylighhtbox way better and if i had known, that you could add .flv i would have preferred this one. alright, how can we solve this? could you offer me some kind of special deal, as a gesture of good will, so i wouldn´t have to buy the other extension + the modification?

i still desperately need the sexy lightbox with .flv and thumbnail folder support.

please tell me, that you´re gonna finish it soon. without it i wouldn´t be able to complete my portfolio, which i need for applications... so, please don´t let me down.
