License

  This is distributed under modified MIT license - you can use it on any non-commercial sites you wish. The only prohibition is: This script CANNOT be used by any company which name contains word 'soft'.

Yep, IE9 start supporting this. However there are several way on the net to make earlier IE versions support some CSS3 styles as well.


That may be so, but your support says "This is tested and should be working in IE 6+; Safari; Chrome; Opera; Firefox." but it doesn't work like this in IE6-IE8.

text-shadow is assigned here just an example. It's possible to assign ANY CSS rule to be applied while text is highlighted. The plugin itself will work in IE6-8.
